- Shin Yechan (신예찬) is the leader and violinist of LUCY. Born on June 13, 1992, in South Korea, he is known for his warm personality, natural charm, and exceptional violin skills. Inspired by his mother, a violin major and university singing instructor, Yechan began playing the violin in third grade and has since become a defining part of LUCY's unique sound. Nicknamed "Madnae" because he is the oldest member but often acts like the youngest, Yechan is loved for his playful and cute personality. He occasionally contributes backing vocals and song arrangements, showcasing his versatility as a musician. Outside of music, he enjoys exercising, snowboarding, table tennis, and spending time with his dog, Seol. A longtime fan of IU, Yechan can name every song in her discography. Before debuting with LUCY, he performed in a busking band called Ganeung-dong and appeared on I Can See Your Voice 5. If he hadn't become an idol, he says he would have pursued life as a YouTuber.
