SPEED (스피드) was a highly talented but criminally underrated seven-member South Korean boy band managed by MBK Entertainment (formerly Core Contents Media) that operated during K-pop’s 2.5 generation transition period from 2012 to 2015. Originally formed as the all-male sub-unit of the unique mixed-gender group Coed School, the group officially branched out on their own with a distinct, high-energy standalone debut in January 2013 featuring their definitive title track, "It's Over". Widely recognized within the K-pop community for their staggering, elite-tier performance abilities, they became legendary for executing high-risk acrobatics, intense breakdancing, and entire synchronized choreographies while wearing Heelys wheeled shoes. Despite their immense raw skill, striking concepts, and dedicated fandom—known as DEEPS—the group suffered from persistent lineup changes and a severe lack of consistent promotional support from their agency, ultimately leading to a quiet, unannounced disbandment in late 2015 [스피드].
