Facebook Data-Deletion Instructions

Effective Date: June 8, 2025 (supersedes all prior versions)

0. Why this page exists

Meta requires every app that uses Facebook Login to provide a publicly accessible URL that explains how Facebook users can delete their data. This page fulfils that requirement for K-pop Visage.

1. One-click deletion inside Facebook

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy › Settings › Apps and Websites.
3. Locate K-pop Visage and click Remove.

Facebook will immediately revoke our access token and send a signed_request to our callback URL (/api/auth/external/facebook/delete). Our server then:

• Removes the Facebook login link from your account
• Queues any Facebook-derived data for permanent deletion within 24 hours

No further action is required on your part.

2. Manual deletion request

If you no longer have access to Facebook or prefer to contact us directly, email info@kpopvisage.com with the subject line Facebook Data Deletion. Please include:

• The email address linked to your K-pop Visage account
• Your Facebook user ID (if known)

We will verify ownership and erase all Facebook-provided data within 24 hours.

3. What gets deleted

Removing Facebook Login deletes the following information we originally received from Facebook:

• Facebook user ID (provider key)
• Display name
• Profile-picture URL
• Email address (if not also used for direct login)

Content you created on K-pop Visage (chat messages, uploads, purchases) remains unaffected. Use in-app settings or email us if you wish to delete that material as well.
