I haven't posted my poems in a while... The path was steep, the stones were sharp, My feet were sore, my heart felt dark. A heavy cloud hung overhead, Whispering doubts, filling me with dread. But deep inside, a tiny spark, Refused to let me stay in dark. A little strength, a whispered plea, "Just one more step, for you, for me." The sun peeked through, a gentle ray, Chasing the shadows far away. The sharp stones softened, the path grew wide, And courage bloomed, a steady tide. Now I stand here, the climb is done, Beneath the bright and shining sun. The scars remain, a quiet sign, Of strength I found, forever mine.
