I’ve recently been thinking about dropping sketching cus of one hate comment on a drawing (I made it for someone and they said they didn’t like it… I haven’t shown it to anyone else) I wonder if I should…. Any advice…. 😔😭

Listen, if you stop drawing you’ll never get better, that’s how you learn. Keep drawing/sketching and you will improve over time. You might not see results immediately, but over time it will become more prominent. So just keep drawing and don’t give up, that’s how you’ll get better ❤️‍🩹🥹
Don’t quit something you enjoy just because of one person’s words. Do what makes you happy, and if your sketches are your pride and joy, do your sketches! Every artist faces critiques. As an art student, we literally have a few day for critiquing each other’s art. This gives feedback and helps you to grow. So moral of the story, do what you love, and treat the criticism as feedback for improvement! ❤️
don't listen to that person they are just jellyous of your skills and dont quit sketching if you enjoy it
