Never try to be friends with everyone. It never works. Trust me, I tried all the way from 1st grade to 4th grade. I left that school with no friends. 25 other kids in that class and not one wanted to sit with me. I went to a private Christian school. Same 25 kids for four years. Left with not even one friend. Public school isn’t worse, but it’s exhausting. Over 200 kids in my grade. I don’t even talk to half of them- yet most of them hate me. I don’t know why. I’m actually really nice- but when I get mad… well I’m mean. Sometimes too mean. People tell others, I lose friends, I get kicked out of friend groups. It feels like I’m a stray puppy who always gets kicked around.

Love. It isn’t something we can control. Your heart doesn’t listen to ‘I don’t want to’ or ‘I can’t’ It knows what it wants and will do anything to get it. It tricks your brain into loving the same. When you don’t get it, your heart aches. It aches because that’s what it wanted and it didn’t get it. Our hearts are like people- they want. And when they don’t get what they want, they ache.
