For users who need a break, I’ve added a new mental health feature under your account settings. If you want to take a break or hiatus from the app for any reason, you can now do so and have the app enforce it for you. You can choose a break as short as 1 day or as long as a month. During that time, depending on the settings you choose, you may stop receiving notifications, be unable to post or reply, be unable to chat, or, in more serious cases, be unable to log in at all. This feature is designed to give users a real chance to step away from social media and focus on their own mental health.
