BTS will play their first-ever concerts in Peru at Estadio San Marcos on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as part of its Arirang world tour, marking the septet's first shows in the country since their 2013 debut. Lima's Santiago de Surco district temporarily renamed Sacramento Street "BTS Avenue" (Oct. 5–11) and illuminated landmarks such as the Arco Morisco in the group's signature purple, while city parks are hosting daily BTS-themed light and water shows. The group opened the South American leg with two shows in Bogotá that drew about 100,000 fans. Peru's export and tourism promotion agency PromPeru said more than 521,000 people lined up for a chance at tickets and the three concerts are expected to draw 96,000–156,000 people in total, and fans are organizing what has been billed as South America's first BTS tribute drone show at Lima's Costa Verde
