- Kim Jung-woo was the powerhouse vocal foundation of SPEED throughout their entire active lifespan. Like Kwanghaeng, his music career began in 2010 under the stage name Yoosung in the pioneering mixed-gender group Coed School. When the agency pivoted to create the all-male sub-unit SPEED, he dropped his stage name to perform under his birth name, Jungwoo, and assumed the crucial responsibility of Main Vocalist. Renowned for his distinct vocal color and stable high notes, he was the only original 1990-line member to stay with SPEED through all of their musical transitions and roster revamps until the very end. On 27 January 2016, he became the first member to break the silence regarding the group's fate, publicly announcing on social media that his contract with MBK Entertainment had expired. After a brief foray into acting and a competitive stint on the survival show Mix Nine, he has since shifted his artistic talents, working as a professional choreographer and dancer.
