VVUP is a girl group formed by EgoENT. They first appeared with a pre-debut single, "Doom Doom Chit", on March 13, 2024, and officially debuted on April 1, 2024, with their single album "Locked On". The group's name, “VVUP,” incorporates “VV” as a stylized “W” from the word “WIN,” reflecting their ambition to rise and inspire with hopeful, positive energy. Their fandom name emphasizes unity, symbolizing the bond between the members and fans as the "V"s create a single "W", meaning always together no matter the time or place. Later that year, on August 29, member Hyunny parted ways with the group due to health concerns, stepping back to focus on her well-being. Later, on December 27, VVUP announced their comeback with a special digital single titled "4 Life", released on December 30. On the same day, Jiyoon was introduced as a new member.
