Voting runs until December 14. The top five teams from the preliminary round (November 25–December 4) advance to the final round (December 5–14), where they compete for the championship. The five finalists in the men’s category are V, Kang Daniel, PLAVE, Stray Kids, and J-Hope. As of December 9—five days before the final vote closes—V and Kang Daniel are in a fierce race, with V leading by 2,816 votes. The ranking for the women’s idols is difficult to predict.
